Finding your way around
Note to Self. ‘Categories’ are subject headings within the blog that take to another part of the blog that also use that subject heading. ‘Tags’ are search words for Google searches. What we call ‘Features’ (or ‘leads’) are what will be listed and hyperlinked to the right of screen, e.g., Episode Commentaries.
To help you find your way around this site, we have organised The Bay City Voice according to the following features:
The Four Seasons, which provide reflective commentaries on broad themes that each S&H season brought to viewers, and shifts in these themes from season to season. ‘Starsky & Hutch’ is a show that clearly did not remain static – it evolved from season to season, sometimes subtly, sometimes blatantly in the viewer’s face!
Episode Reviews, which drill down into each episode. The episode reviews are grouped according to the four seasons of ‘Starsky & Hutch’. Within each season, the episode commentaries are sequenced according to the order in which they originally aired. Each review is listed and named according to its episode title.
Rap Sheets, which provide character profiles for the two Boys and others who have graced the Starsky & Hutch screen.
On Location, which takes us through the streets of Bay City where we conduct our crime scene investigations. We share addresses and photos of ‘Starsky & Hutch’ filming locations that we have personally visited and/or can be seen on Google Street View maps. We also provide links between these locations and a map where we have pin-pointed these locations - published on The Bay City Gazetteer. On Location entries are listed and named by XXXXXX.
Spotlight, which provides pieces of information and fun not covered in The Bay City Voice’s other features. Watch this space!
Most importantly, we provide an Interactive Forum at the end of each post. So please share your thoughts, reflections and responses with us and others who come here. We would love to hear from you! Just know that all comments are carefully moderated before publishing so as to protect and serve everyone here. We will not publish any comments that we judge to be offensive, spam, or off-topic.
